Pastor

Pastor Blake Martzowka is an invasive species here in Ohio originally from Michigan. In 2015, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Languages and Religious Studies. He went on to study at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana, graduating in 2020 with his Master of Divinity (M.Div.). After completing the coursework for his Ph.D. in Theological Studies at the same institution in 2023, he received the divine call to serve here as our pastor.

His academic interests include Historical Jesus Research, New Testament studies, and the development of Christology (the confession of who Christ is). When he is not buried in books about these things, he also enjoys watching horror movies, reading about mythology and things that go bump in the night, collecting comic books, and going on walks with his wife, Ruth, and their dog, Daisy.
